Notebook Contents

The class notebook should be a loose leaf notebook
There should be a section for each day of class

Each section will contain all work for that class day

Class notes
Homework

Program source code
Text problems
Problems or programs made up by the student

Outline of assigned text
Other work done for the class

Each section should be should be marked for easy lookup

During the office visit prior to each exam

the notebook must be complete to that date
The notebook must demonstrate that the student has studied for all material that might be on the exam
Students must be able to answer questions associated with the notebook

For office visits after an absence

The notebook must be complete for the date of absence
If the notebook is not complete for the date of absence then the absence will be "unexcused"
